Finally, just for me . . . "Martyred Justice"

Good morning, readers and scribes!

It's taken a while, but I've finally come to a place in life where I'm able to focus on my personal work.  I feel good about that, as every professional freelance writer I know wishes for the opportunity to promote their own life's work instead of someone else's.

As I sit here in the morning sun, listening to the soft chirping of those birds who dare to brave winter's bite, I'm grateful for yet another day I can call my own.  There is great promise in every new morning.

My current WIP, "Martyred Justice" will be published in early Spring, 2019.  It will be a pleasant change to see my name on the cover along with taking full credit (or blame) for the contents.  Its main character, Lulu Waterton, is someone we can all take lessons in humility and courage from every time we're met with a life challenge. In addition, while standing strong against the injustices of life, Lulu shows us that she has a certain tenderness as well.

"Martyred Justice" is a story about what it takes to realize understanding, forgiveness and, finally, redemption.  Most of all, it's a solid reminder of what we owe to the fragile elements of our society, whose life circumstances provide us all with an opportunity to become better people.

It's been a continued pleasure to write every page of this newest novel. I hope it's same for you as a reader.
